Book the Bus

We have 2 buses available for use by the community which can be booked on this page.

Osprey is our older diesel bus with 13 seats and an unlimited range.

Thistle is our accessible electric vehicle, with a range limited to a roundtrip of approximately 80 miles dependent on load and weather. Longer trips might be possible if it can be charged as part of the trip.

Our charitable purpose is to support people disadvantaged because of age, ill health, disability, financial or other reasons. Groups supporting one or more people who fall into these categories can use the buses.

To access the booking form:

• Register for a user account.

• Log into your account which brings up the booking calendar.

• Click on the date and time you want to start the booking. A pop-up box will be generated asking for further details.

• This creates a provisional booking which generates an email to the Bus Coordinator who will check and confirm the booking.

Drivers. Groups are asked to provide a driver who must undertake an induction and licence check before use. We realise not all groups can do this so if you’re struggling, please contact info@forresospreybus.co.uk

Driver requirements. Drivers must be aged 22-70 and have a full driving licence.

Cost. We request a donation of £0.50p per mile to use the bus. Please email jo@forresospreybus.co.uk with your mileage and we will send a donation letter confirming payment for your records.
